Herman Chittison - Keyboard Capers

Herman Chittison could well be termed an international pianist, for his talents have not only embraced these shores but his superlative keyboard work has also been witnessed by night club patrons in Paris, Alexandria, Cairo, Ostend and Middlekirk. This vast experience has given him a keen insight for pleasing any audience, a knack that has made him the envy of many of his fellow musicians. Herman Chittison's fanciful artistry is vividly exemplified in this long playing collection of ever popular standard favorites. His style is unique in that he combines the dominant melody of the score together with an array of surrounding companion chords to further enhance the song's charm. The melodies performed in Keyboard Capers represent not only perennial patron favorites but each is also a "pet" piece for pianists. "Dancing On The Ceiling", "On The Sunny Side of The Street", and "September in The Rain", all contained in this collection, will in particular, be found in almost any pianist's repertoire. This has been manifested by the public's continual requests to hear them and the artists' own personal desire to play them.
